This Privacy Policy applies to the website operated by Clean Spaces ("Clean Spaces", "we", "us", "our"), providing commercial cleaning services across Wollongong, the Illawarra, and selected Sydney sites, New South Wales, Australia. It explains how we handle personal information collected through cleanspaces.com.au.

What we collect

When you submit our Request a Quote form, we collect whatever you enter into it, which may include:

• Your business name
• Phone number
• Email address
• Suburb or site location
• Site type and preferred cleaning frequency
• Any additional details you write in the message field

We don't otherwise ask visitors to create accounts, log in, or provide payment details on this website. If you contact us directly by phone or email instead of using the form, we'll hold whatever information you choose to share with us that way too.

How we collect it

Directly from you, when you voluntarily submit the Request a Quote form, or when you contact us by phone or email. We don't collect personal information from third parties or public sources for this purpose.

Why we collect and use it

We use the information you provide to:

• Respond to your quote request and get in touch with you
• Assess your site and prepare a cleaning plan and quote
• Arrange and deliver cleaning services if you decide to proceed
• Keep basic records of enquiries and clients for ordinary business and accounting purposes

We don't use the information you submit for unrelated marketing, and we don't add you to any mailing list without your separate consent.

Where your enquiry is stored

Form submissions are processed and stored by Netlify, our website hosting and form-processing provider, and are delivered to our own email inbox. We don't share, sell, or rent your personal information to any other third party, and we don't disclose it overseas except to the extent Netlify's infrastructure itself may involve offshore data processing as part of providing that hosting service.

Cookies and tracking

As at the date of this policy, this website does not use tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or analytics software. The site loads web fonts from Google Fonts, which may log IP addresses as part of standard server logs, but does not set cookies. If we add analytics or advertising tools in future that use cookies, we'll update this policy accordingly and, where required, seek your consent first.

Data security

We take reasonable steps to protect the personal information we hold from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security, but we don't hold more information than we need for the purposes above.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and client information for as long as is reasonably necessary to respond to your enquiry and, if you become a client, for the duration of our service relationship plus any period required for tax, accounting, or legal record-keeping purposes. After that, we delete or de-identify it, or do so earlier at your request where we're not required to retain it.

Access, correction, and deletion

You can ask us at any time to access the personal information we hold about you, correct it if it's wrong or out of date, or delete it. Contact us using the details below and we'll respond within a reasonable timeframe.

Children's privacy

This website is directed at businesses and commercial site managers seeking cleaning services, not at children. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children.

Our approach to the Privacy Act

Clean Spaces is a small business and may currently be exempt from parts of the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) under its small business exemption. Regardless, we've written this policy to align with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) as a matter of good practice. We may update this policy from time to time, for example if we start using new tools on the website. The effective date at the top will change when we do. Continuing to use the website or submit the quote form after an update means you accept the current version.
